چکیده
Multimodal therapy has been recognized as a powerful platform for the precise treatment of cancer. However, reported multimodal therapeutic systems often involve sophisticated components and tedious fabrication procedures. As such, developing nature-inspired easily-obtainable theranostic agents cancer remains challenging. In this work, we propose nanothylakoids agent both in vitro vivo. Nanothylakoids extracted from spinach leaves exhibit prominent photothermal photodynamic inactivation on 4T1 MCF-7 cells due to their outstanding conversion/photosensitization capabilities. Additionally, peroxidase-like catalytic activity is simultaneously verified, which facilitates oxidation H2O2 cytotoxic hydroxyl radical (·OH) thus cause efficient cell apoptosis. Interestingly, selective cytotoxicity found overexpression H2O2. vivo results substantiate outcome excellent biosafety nanothylakoids. with photothermal/photodynamic effects open new avenue development materials, holding great promise therapeutics.

Yeast cell wall particles: a promising class of nature-inspired microcarriers for multimodal imaging.
This communication demonstrates that yeast cell wall particles (YCWPs) are a promising class of nature-inspired biocompatible microcarriers for the delivery of amphipathic/lipophilic imaging reporters. When a paramagnetic MRI agent is loaded, the longitudinal relaxivity per particle at 0.5 T is the highest ever reported for Gd-based systems.

متن کاملNature-Inspired Optimization Algorithms
The performance of any algorithm will largely depend on the setting of its algorithmdependent parameters. The optimal setting should allow the algorithm to achieve the best performance for solving a range of optimization problems. However, such parameter tuning is itself a tough optimization problem. In this chapter, we present a framework for self-tuning algorithms so that an algorithm to be t...
